KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Bank Bhd and CIMB Islamic Bank Bhd have partnered ModulEight Technologies Sdn Bhd to onboard Mesinkira, an integrated mobile business management solution to support the growth and digitalisation for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME).

Mesinkira is a commercial platform that offers point-of-sale software including inventory management, payment and accounting, and reporting services to MSMEs.

According to the banking group, this is the latest addition to its digital solutions, which provides the assistance needed for businesses to continue thriving, whilst encouraging digital adoption amongst MSMEs.

"The availability of this digital-first and cost-efficient solution is a highly practical value-add to MSMEs which will enable them to leverage business opportunities in the e-commerce sphere.

"This latest offering also reaffirms CIMB’s continued commitment to support the development of MSME businesses, which form the backbone of the Malaysian economy, as they continue to accelerate their business growth post-pandemic,” said CIMB Group commercial banking CEO Victor Lee Meng Teck in a statement.
