Spritzer organises year-end carnival, projects growing demand for bottled water in 2023


KUALA LUMPUR: Spritzer is going into the year-end on high hopes the festivities will usher in another year of growing demand for bottled mineral water.

Citing Grand View Research, the company said the global water market including spring water, purified water, mineral water, sparkling water and others, is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 6.7% from 2022 to 2030.

For the third quarter ended Sept 31, 2022, Spritzer reported revenue growth of 51% year-on-year (y-o-y) while net profit jumped 91% y-o-y to RM11.4mil.

In celebration of the Christmas period, the company will be organising a Winter Carnival at the Spritzer EcoPark in Taiping, Perak, from Dec 16, 2022, to Jan 1, 2023,

According to Spritzer's press statement, featured in this carnival is a 28-foot giant Christmas tree partially made of recycled Spritzer Sparkling and Spritzer Natural mineral water bottles, as well as igloo-like dome houses.

Visitors can also enjoy snowfall available on select days, with four sessions per day and each session lasting 30 minutes.

The snowfall dates are Dec 16-18 and 23-25, 2022, while session times are 6.30pm, 8pm, 9pm and 10pm.

There will also be special workshops for making Christmas confectionaries on the "snowfall" dates from 5pm to 10pm.

Other “Winter” carnival activities include a giant outdoor bubble, pedal kart ride, mini golf in the park and fun fair game stations such as Flip the Bottle and Toss the Ring.
