MN Holdings bags EPCC contract worth RM28.5mil


KUALA LUMPUR: MN Holdings Bhd has secured an engineering, procurement and construction (EPCC) contract worth RM28.5mil for a large-scale solar plant in Merchang, Terengganu.

The underground utilities and substation engineering specialist said its wholly-owned subsidiary MN Power Transmission Sdn Bhd has accepted the award from Century Supplies Sdn Bhd.

Under the contract, MN Power will undertake the electrical and civil engineering subcontract works for the development of a 100 mega-watt alternating current (MWac) interconnection facilities for the LSS plant.

The project is expected to be completed in December 2023.

“This new contract wins further strengthen and add credence to our track record in the industry. We will continue to leverage on our core competencies as the underground utilities and substation engineering specialist to bid for more contracts,” said executive director Dang Siong Diang in a statement.

He added that the latest contract win brings the Company’s order book to about RM356.89mil, which will provide earnings visibility until 2025.
