KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks in focus on Tuesday include Sern Kou Resources, Yinson, Serba Dinamik, Leform, Kawan Food and Handal Energy, said Apex Research.

Sern Kou Resources Bhd as it reported a fire incident at one of its manufacturing plants in Muar, Johor.

Yinson Holdings Bhd has secured a 1-month contract extension worth RM15.03 million for the charter of its Adoon FSPO in Nigeria.

Trading of Serba Dinamik’s shares will be suspended from Dec 23, if the company fails to issue its annual report for FY22 by Dec 22.

Leform Bhd has received a RM10.05 million a subcontract for the supply and installation of guard rails for a portion of the West Coast Expressway.

Kawan Food Bhd has cancelled its plan to buy five parcels of land measuring 7.08 acres in Shah Alam, for RM50.46 million.

Handal Energy Bhd has entered into an agreement with Tanjung Aru Eco Development Sdn Bhd (TAED), a unit of Chief Minister of Sabah Inc, for the operation, management, extraction and sale of marine sea sand for a 15-year period in three concession areas.

Meanwhile, Apex said the FBM KLCI could remain sideways between the support and resistance of 1,465 and 1,50 points respectively.

The US market declined overnight following fears of a recession after the Federal Reserve raised interest rates last week.

Earlier, European stocks advanced as investors assessed hawkish comments from central banks.
