Serba Dinamik withdraws Bursa appeal


In November 2021, the bourse regulator and operator had started legal action against Serba Dinamik after it failed to comply with its directive for the company to disclose the material findings of the fact-finding update made by EY Consulting.

PETALING JAYA: Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd has withdrawn its appeal without costs, in the legal action against Bursa Malaysia.

In late May 2021, Serba Dinamik had made headlines after announcing KPMG had informed the company of matters pertaining to its statutory audit.

In November 2021, the bourse regulator and operator had started legal action against Serba Dinamik after it failed to comply with its directive for the company to disclose the material findings of the fact-finding update made by EY Consulting.

EY Consulting had been appointed by Serba Dinamik to carry out an special independent review to assess matters highlighted by Serba Dinamik’s former auditor KPMG.

In February 2022, Serba Dinamik filed a notice of appeal at the High Court to invalidate High Court judicial commissioner Wan Muhammad Amin Wan Yahya’s order to comply with Bursa Malaysia’s instruction to make public the FFU.
