BCorp raises stake in REDTone


The purchases take BCorp’s deemed stake in REDTone to 47.46% or 366.86 million shares.

PETALING JAYA: Berjaya Corp Bhd’s (BCorp) wholly owned subsidiaries, Juara Sejati Sdn Bhd and Teras Mewah Sdn Bhd, have bought 24.6 million shares in Redtone Digital Bhd from Aug 30 to Dec 21.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, BCorp said the share purchases, amounting to 3.18% stake in REDtone, were done via direct business transactions and cost RM11.1mil cash or at an average purchase price of about 45 sen per REDtone share.
