Young Spikes Malaysia 2022 winners announced


Deserving champions: The Young Spikes Malaysia 2022 Awards winners rejoice with their prizes.

KUALA LUMPUR: The Young Spikes Malaysia 2022 Awards was held recently at the Taylor’s University Lakeside campus and hosted 30 teams, supporters. sponsors and partners.

Organising chairman Harmandar Singh in a statement said: “Today we witness a turning point for many of the young professionals in our industry. I wish them great glory in their careers and look forward to the teams conquering the Asia-Pacific stage.”

Taylor’s University Head of School of Media and Communication, Prema Ponnudurai, also welcomed all guests. Taylor’s has always been the official venue for this event.

Winners for the Digital category (sponsored by Telekom Malaysia) were: Gold – Michelle Kwok Jia Ping and Belinda Hon Lin Hui (from VMLY&R Commerce). Silver – Marcus Hui and Xi Lynn Tan (Leo Burnett). Bronze – Tan Yik Won and Lim Chuin Ni (Mediabrands).

Winners for Media category (sponsored by Etika) were: Gold – Ang Ching Wen and Amal Ben Saad (Mindshare), Silver – Ooi Shu En and Lim Rui Xing (Mindshare). Bronze – Jaclyn Hwang Wei Li and Priya Karthik (dentsu).

Winners for PR category (sponsored by GO Communications) were: Gold – Daniel Isaac Gregory and Arivintiran Ponnan (Edelman Worldwide). Silver – Candy Lo and Maneesha Arasu (Mad Hat Asia).

Winners for Integrated category (sponsored by KFC) were: Gold – Kristine Rimas Lee and Ting Nick Jee (Mediabrands). Silver – Ng Xinyi and Brenda Koh (Etika). Bronze – Amirra Razak and Hana Sudradjat (Publicis Groupe).

Winners for Young Marketers category (sponsored by Sime Darby Property): Gold –Tan Ker Seng and Amanda Wong Wen Sze (Malaysia Aviation Group). Silver – Amelia Teo Siew Ching and Bellace Lim Swee Theng (Etika). Bronze – Andrew Lee Jun Yao and Leong Tsui See (Pizza Hut).

All Gold winning teams will compete at Spikes Asia in late February next year.
