NCT Group to boost investments via NSIP project

The managed industrial park, upon completion, is targeted to create 50,000 job opportunities, NCT Group says.

PETALING JAYA: NCT Group of Companies is working with the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce to boost investment opportunities from local and international investors via its NCT Smart Industrial Park (NSIP) project in Selangor.

The managed industrial park, upon completion, is targeted to create 50,000 job opportunities, NCT Group said in a statement yesterday.

It said the NCT Group was invited to present its NSIP project to more than 350 delegates that includes representatives from the Hainan government in China.

“A project endorsed by the Selangor state government, NSIP’s unique positioning as ‘the first’ managed industrial park aims to boost investment opportunities from local and international investors.

“Coupled with the support of the Hainan government, the project is currently on track to attract investors from China to invest in NCT’s properties and developments under the NSIP,” it added.

Located at the integrated development region in south Selangor, NSIP is a fourth industrial revolution-inspired development that integrates smart innovations and sustainable solutions to cater to the current and future needs of entrepreneurs.

“The project is consciously designed to also address common challenges faced by industrial parks, including floods and traffic congestion. There will be flood prevention features and smart traffic systems within and around the facility to better manage traffic flows,” said NSIP project lead general manager Eddy Lim Swee Shien.

He added that the project also embodies environmental, social and governance values and is designed in line with the green real estate-rating criteria.
