PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) expects the price of crude palm oil (CPO) to average at RM3,800 a tonne in 2023, as compared to RM5,100 this year.

The government agency expects the average price of CPO to ease in 2023 on expectations of higher palm oil production, better weather conditions in the second half of 2023 and improved supply availability of other edible oils.
