Nestcon bags RM200mil construction contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Nestcon Bhd has accepted a letter of award worth RM200mil from Armada Istimewa Sdn Bhd for the development of a mixed commercial development in Kuala Lumpur.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the construction engineering firm said the job will entail the construction and completion of earthworks, piling and pile caps, retaining wall, substructure, main building works and infrastructure works for a 47-storey mixed commercial development.

The development will comprise 320 units of serviced apartment and 354 units of strata office with facilities, podium car park, shops and restaurants/bars to be erected on the lands at Jalan Liew Weng Chee, Kuala Lumpur.

The overall completion for the contract works is within 41 months, including the mobilisation period, all festivals and public holidays and is expected to be completed on or before June 16, 2026.
