KKB Engineering secures contracts valued a combined RM351.7mil


KUALA LUMPUR: KKB Engineering Bhd's subsidiary OceanMight Sdn Bhd has secured a contract with limited notice to proceed from Sarawak Shell Bhd for the provision of engineering, procurement and construction of standard wellhead platforms for the MLNG FaS (F27, F22 and Selasih) Gas Field Development.

In addition, another of the group's subsidiaries, KKB Industries (Sabah) Sdn Bhd has received a purchase order from Seri Ghanimi Contractor Sdn Bhd for the supply of mild steel concrete lined pipes.

The group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia the total contract sum for the awards is about RM351.7mil.

It added that the Sarawak Shell contract is effective from December 2022 until the completion of work whereas period for the Seri Ghanimi contract is for nine months.
