Digi.Com changes name to CelcomDigi Bhd

KUALA LUMPUR: Digi.Com Bhd has changed its name to CelcomDigi Bhd, according to Bursa Malaysia’s announcement today.

The company’s new stock short name will be quoted as “CDB” with effect from March 2, replacing the old stock short name “Digi”, Bursa said in a statement.

Last November, Axiata Group Bhd, Telenor Asia Pte Ltd and Digi.Com completed the merger of the telecommunications operations of Celcom Axiata Bhd and Digi.

Axiata and Telenor hold equal ownership in Celcom Digi at 33.1% each.
