Favelle Favco bags two contracts worth RM95mil


KUALA LUMPUR: Favelle Favco Bhd (FFB) has secured two purchase orders worth RM95mil to supply tower and offshore cranes.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the crane manufacturer said its subsidiaries Kroll Cranes A/S and Favelle Favco Cranes (M) Sdn Bhd (FFC) received the purchase orders.

Kroll Cranes bagged tower crane supply contract with Samsung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. The contract is expected to be delivered by the second quarter of 2024.

Meanwhile, FFB secured a contract to supply offshore crane from Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd. It said it would be a staggered delivery from the first quarter to the second quarter of 2024.

It said the contracts are expected to contribute positively to the company’s earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2023 and beyond.
