TNB appoints Abdul Razak Abdul Majid as chairman

KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional Bhd’s (TNB) board of directors has approved the appointment of Datuk Abdul Razak Abdul Majid as the company chairman for a period of two years effective March 27, 2023.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, it said Abdul Razak, 72, is currently a member of the Action Committee for the establishment of National Energy Center since 2021 and a member of the Independent Advisory Panel, Malaysian Petroleum Resources Corporation since 2022.

It said he is also currently being invited by the Energy Commission of Malaysia to chair two committees, supply chain and licensing, since 2022.
