Deleum wins slickline contract from ExxonMobil


KUALA LUMPUR: Deleum Bhd has secured a contract from ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc for the provision of slickline equipment and services.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the oil & gas specialist said its wholly owned subsidiary, Deleum Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd (DOSSB) received the letter of award dated March 14 from ExxonMobil.

The contract is for a period of four years, commencing on March 15, 2023.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the revenue, earnings and net assets of Deleum group for the duration of the contract,” it said.

Group chief executive officer Rao Abdullah said: “The winning of this highly competitive tender as an incumbent demonstrates their confidence in the group’s strong track record and ability to provide high-quality oilfield services in the production and drilling sector in the O&G industry, allowing Deleum to maintain its leadership position as an oil and gas services provider in Malaysia.”

“Moving forward, we are constantly looking for ways to strengthen our business and plans to expand our presence locally as well as internationally.”
