KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has reclassified Lim Seong Hai Capital Bhd
's sector and sub-sector to construction.
It said the changes will take effect at 9am on April 10, 2023.
In a statement, the stock exchange operator said the stock number and short name of the company's shares remain unchanged.
Lim Seong Hai was previously classified in the industrial products and services sector and its sub-sector was diversified industrials.
Bursa said the update was owing to the criteria, which take into account, among other things, the changes in business activity for the company and the core business activity contribution to its financial results.
"The update in the classification of sector will ensure all investors and industry participants are kept informed on the latest development of public listed companies in the various sectors of the Bursa Securities’ Main Market, ACE Market and LEAP Market," said Bursa.
