Heng Huat buying land for RM6.3mil

PETALING JAYA: Heng Huat Resources Group Bhd is acquiring six parcels of vacant land, one in Perak and five in Penang, for RM6.32mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said the acquisitions were part of its plan to diversify into property development.

“The company had on March 15, 2022 obtained shareholders’ approval to diversify into property development.

“The acquisitions will not have any effect on the issued share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of Heng Huat,” it said.
