Luno plans proactive outreach

PETALING JAYA: Luno Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a global cryptocurrency investment app, aims to continue advancing the digital currency sector into 2023 by supporting Malaysia’s digital landscape through proactive outreach measures.

According to Luno Malaysia country manager Aaron Tang, the group has consistently been supporting and building Malaysia’s digital landscape through its close collaboration with local regulators such as the Securities Commission.

“Luno’s stringent compliance with local regulations provides all investors with peace of mind in further building their investment portfolio,” he said.

He explained that Luno Malaysia is committed to supporting the nation’s digital agenda through various outreaches to advancing the country’s digital agenda.

This includes raising public awareness through education and ongoing commitment to ensure responsible governance.

“Regardless of the conditions at play, we will continue creating awareness and driving education efforts for the Malaysian public on the long-term value and prospects of digital assets,” Tang said.

A part of Luno Malaysia’s effort to give access to Malaysians for crypto education is the localisation of the Luno app, which now sees over 18,000 customers engaging in crypto investing using Bahasa Melayu as their primary app language.

The group has also revamped the Luno Rewards feature and rewards investors by incentivising them to encourage regular investment and manage their portfolio in an incremental, long-term manner.
