Rakuten Trade lowers brokerage fees


PETALING JAYA: Digital equity broker Rakuten Trade Sdn Bhd has lowered its brokerage fees to stimulate retail participation and further democratise digital equity broking in Malaysia.

The online broker’s minimum brokerage rate has been cut to RM1 from RM7 for trading value below RM700, but it has retained the maximum brokerage fee of RM100 for transactions worth RM100,000 and above.
