KUALA LUMPUR: Wah Seong Corp Bhd has announced that its deputy managing director, Gian Carlo Maccagno, will succeed Chan Cheu Leong as managing director and group CEO of the company following the latter's retirement on July 1, 2023.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the oil and gas services group said Chan, 72, will subsequently remain with the group as a non-independent non-executive director.
Maccagno, 59, is also the CEO of the Wasco Energy Group of Companies, the energy solutions services division of Wah Seong, and is responsible for the overall business and management operations of the Wasco Group.
