Pasdec appoints Liew Chai Sen as CEO


KUALA LUMPUR: Pasdec Holdings Bhd has appointed Liew Chai Sen as its chief executive officer.

Liew, 43, joined Pasdec in March 2019 as a special officer to the group managing director.

Prior to that, she was the group financial controller of Aim Realty Sdn Bhd, an investment holding company involved in property development, property investment, golfing, sporting and recreation facilities.

She was the assistant finance and account manager at Mieco Chipboard Bhd from 2007 to 2014.

Liew is a chartered accountant with the Malaysia Institute of Accountants. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting (Information Systems) (Hons) from the Universiti Utara Malaysia.

Meanwhile, former group managing director Tew Kim Kiat has been redesignated to executive director. He was appointed as the group managing director of the company on Sept 1, 2019.

Tew is the brother of Datuk Seri Tew Kim Thin, who is the executive deputy chairman and deemed a major shareholder of the company via Jasa Imani Sdn Bhd.
