KUALA LUMPUR: There could be increased trading interest in Eversendai, Cahya Mata Sarawak, Capitaland Malaysia Trust, GDB, Menang, Samchem and Teo Seng, said Apex Research.

Eversendai Corp Bhd had secured nine projects worth a combined RM1.1 billion.

Cahya Mata Sarawak Bhd (CMSB) said a possible contingent liability of RM266 million could be reflected in its FY2022 audited financial statements.

CapitaLand Malaysia Trust (CLMT) is adding a freehold logistics warehouse located at the Hicom-Glenmarie Industrial Park in Shah Alam, Selangor to its portfolio for RM39.7 million.

GDB Holdings Bhd’s unit filed a fresh lawsuit against KSK Land Sdn Bhd, claiming an outstanding sum of RM102.08 million.

Menang Corp (M) Bhd’s 3QFY23 net profit fell 28% year-on-year to RM3.28 million.

Samchem Holdings Bhd’s net profit tumbled 66.64% year-on-year to RM6.54 million.

Teo Seng Capital Bhd’s 1Q23 net profit jumped 373.17% to RM19.68 million.

The US market was slightly higher overnight as investors monitor the progress of congressional leaders working on a deal to raise the debt ceiling.

Earlier, European markets were mixed following U.S. debt ceiling negotiations, Turkish elections and a higher forecast for EU inflation this year.
