Fajarbaru wins RMAF base job


KUALA LUMPUR: Fajarbaru Builder Group Bhd has secured a contract from Australian Department of Defence to redevelop military facilities at the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Base Butterworth in Penang.

In a statement, Fajarbaru said its portion of the contract has a value of RM7.36mil.

This phase will commence on July 10 and is scheduled to be completed by Nov 13, 2023.

Fajarbaru Builder Sdn Bhd and Avionics Pty Ltd were awarded a head contract (International) from Australian Department of Defence, to redevelop the Australian leased facilities and Malaysian facilities at the RMAF base.

“The contract is a significant milestone for our company, demonstrating our expertise and credibility in the construction industry,” Fajarbaru group chief executive officer Datuk Seri Eric Kuan Khian Leng said.
