BHIC Aeroservices wins RM115.3mil service contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Boustead Heavy Industries Corp Bhd's subsidiary, BHIC AeroServices Sdn Bhd (BHICAS), has accepted a supplemental letter of award from the Defence Ministry for an in-service support contract.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the group said the additional ceiling contract of RM115.3 million is for the maintenance and supply of spare parts for the Royal Malaysian Air Force EC725 helicopters.

The contract runs from April 1, 2023 until March 31, 2024, which will bring the new total ceiling contract value to RM706.5 million.

BHICAS is a joint venture between BHIC Defence Technologies Sdn Bhd (51 per cent), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, Prestige Pillar Sdn Bhd (30 per cent) and Airbus Helicopters Malaysia Sdn Bhd (19 per cent). - Bernama
