Ranhill seeks to expand water supply ops


PETALING JAYA: Ranhill Utilities Bhd is actively exploring initiatives to expand its water supply operations to other states in Malaysia.

The company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that it is confident of being considered as a partner in the event any state government is looking to the private sector to collaborate in operating its water supply operations.

For its second quarter ended June 30, 2023, Ranhill’s net profit rose to RM12.06mil from RM7mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue grew to RM593.67mil from RM458.38mil a year earlier.
