Kelington’s 2Q net profit rises to RM19mil, declares 1.5 sen dividend


KUALA LUMPUR: Kelington Group Bhd’s net profit for the second quarter of the financial year ended Dec 31, 2023 (FY2023) has increased to RM19.06 million from RM13.56 million previously.

The revenue for the quarter under review also increased to RM424.91 million from RM312.40 million as the group recorded a rise in contribution across all its key operating markets.

"On prospects, the group continues to enjoy a healthy order book replenishment rate across the ultra-high purity, process engineering, and general contracting segments. Our total order book stands at RM2.44 billion, of which RM1.77 billion remains outstanding.

"On Aug 18, 2023, the board of directors proposed the payment of a first interim tax-exempt dividend of 1.5 sen per ordinary share in respect of the FY2023 to be paid on Oct 2, 2023,” said the engineering and industrial gases company in a Bursa Malaysia filing, today. - Bernama
