Cape sees favourable EMS prospects


PETALING JAYA: Cape EMS Bhd expects the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) market to hold favourable prospects globally.

This will be driven by increasing demand for outsourced manufacturing, technological advancements, market expansion in emerging economies and integration of Industry 4.0 technologies.

For its second quarter ended June 30, 2023, the EMS provider reported a net profit of RM15.16mil on revenue of RM121.78mil, with basic earnings per share of 1.64 sen.
