PETALING JAYA: Derek Tan (pic) has joined media communications agency Invictus Blue Malaysia as CEO after a storied journey that encompassed many landmark companies.

This included the pivotal role he played in the phenomenal growth of ad agency Entropia right through to its acquisition by Accenture.

Invictus has a unique position as the industry pioneer not just in Malaysia but in Asia and continues to be one of the most awarded agencies in the country, the agency said in a recent statement about Tan’s appointment.

Tan will work closely with founder Gerald Miranda and his son Keith Miranda, who is the group managing director, on the strategic corporate direction of the group.

“There is greatness in Invictus Blue’s heritage and I am honoured to be part of the chapter to design the future together,” Tan added.
