DNeX records net profit of RM47.5mil in 4Q


PETALING JAYA: Dagang Nexchange Bhd (DNeX) will remain focused on enhancing production of emerging technologies, such as microelectromechanical systems and silicon photonics, which will give better average selling price and profitability.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said it had also secured new customers with on-going product qualifications that will benefit the company.

For its fourth quarter ended June 30, 2023, DNeX’s net profit dropped to RM47.51mil from RM160.59mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue dipped to RM275.02mil from RM450.57mil a year earlier.

Basic earnings per share stood at 1.51 sen versus 5.09 sen previously.
