Comintel bags RM161.2mil construction contract


PETALING JAYA: Comintel Corp Bhd's wholly owned subsidiary Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a construction and infrastructure works project worth RM161mil by Exsim Jalil Link Sdn Bhd, for the proposed development of a data centre.

The project, which would involve the erecting of two building blocks in Bukit Jalil, is scheduled to commence on Sept 1 and is to be completed in two phases.

The first phase is targeted to be finished within 10 months from the commencement date, and the second phase is to be completed another two months later.

Comintel, in a Bursa filing, said the contract is expected to provide an additional income stream for the group over the next two financial years.
