China to achieve this year's economic growth target of around 5%, says Premier

BEIJING: China is expected to achieve its 2023 growth target of around 5% set earlier this year, Premier Li Qiang said in Jakarta.

Many major banks have flagged the risk of China missing the annual growth target after the economy's initial post-COVID recovery lost momentum.
