KUALA LUMPUR: Stocks to watch for include KNM Group, Pan Malaysia Corp, TT Vision and ECM Libra, said Apex Research.
KNM Group Bhd is selling its loss-making unit FBM Hudson Italiana SpA forRM110.09 million.
Pan Malaysia Corporation Bhd (PMC) has proposed to acquire the remaining 49% equity interest in A&W (Malaysia) for RM69.45 million.
Khazanah Nasional Bhd has disposed of a 4.62% stake in TT Vision Holdings Bhd for RM25.92 million.
ECM Libra Group Bhd is buying two pieces of beachfront land in Desaru, Johor for an aggregate RM36.86 million for future hospitality developments.
Meanwhile, the U.S. market ended slightly higher on Friday to pare the week’s losses after renewed concerns of inflation and interest rate hike.
Similary, European markets climbed in a slight rebound after earlier losses due to China’s weak trade data and US inflation concerns.
On the local market, the FBM KLCI dropped 5.12 points or 0.35% to 1454.95 points.
"Following last week’s flattish trend, the FBM KLCI could remain sideways and hover below the resistance of 1,465 points which has been capping the index since July," said Apex.
