Theta Edge, Heitech Padu gets contracts from Education Ministry


KUALA LUMPUR: Theta Edge Bhd has received a letter of acceptance from the Education Ministry for the rental of eco-friendly laptops, worth RM47.4mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Theta Edge said the laptops will be for the use of school teachers and educational institutions under the Education Ministry in Zone 1, Selangor.

In a separate filing, Heitech Padu Bhd said it had secured a RM40.93mil contract from the Education Ministry for an environmentally friendly laptop rental service for teachers in schools and educational institutions in Kelantan and Terengganu.

The duration of both contracts is for a period of 63 months, commencing from Sept 15, 2023 to Dec 14, 2028.
