Mestron expanding RE footprint


Por says Mestron aims to undertake merger and acquisition deals in order to further grow its RE business.

TELECOMMUNICATIONS pole maker Mestron Holdings Bhd is fast expanding its renewable energy (RE) business, which only began in 2020 in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The group, which is involved in biogas and solar power generation, foresees the RE segment contributing one-third of its total revenue within the next three to five years.Currently, the pole manufacturing business contributes about 90% of Mestron’s revenue.
