SHAH ALAM: PTT Synergy Group Bhd (PTTS) is showing its leadership in the evolving intralogistics solutions industry by entering into two strategic partnerships that could reshape the country’s logistics and supply chain landscape.
PTTS had inked a lease agreement with Longterm Distribution Sdn Bhd for an automated warehouse facility, called PTT Space Elmina Logistics Hub in Elmina Business Park, Shah Alam on Sept 20.
Longterm Distribution is a distribution and warehousing partner for many of the prominent names in the fast-moving consumer goods industry.
The move signifies PTTS’ initiative in a series of cutting-edge logistics spaces aimed at spearheading Industry 4.0 and enhancing supply chain operations.
With the implementation of automated storage and retrieval system technology, PTTS can drive efficiency while substantially reducing operational costs and energy consumption for clients.
On the same day, PTTS also formalised a partnership with Rhong Khen International Bhd, an industry leader in integrated household furniture manufacturing, to establish a system pallet business.
This collaboration is aimed at completing the ecosystem of automated warehousing solutions.
PTTS and Rhong Khen will produce and supply 200,000 units of system pallets within two years, further streamlining supply chain management and intralogistics services.
Both parties will also maintain the pallets to support the ecosystem of automated warehousing and total intralogistics solutions.PTTS managing director Teo Swee Phin remarked on the company’s strategic alliances, stating: “These partnerships are testaments to our unwavering dedication to innovation and excellence.
“We are optimistic about collaborations with both Longterm Distribution and Rhong Khen, as they align seamlessly with our long-term sustainability vision,” he said.
Both partnerships will solidify PTTS’ dominant position in the automated warehousing and total intralogistics solutions industry.
“They act as strong indicators of the firm’s commitment to driving long-term sustainability, both economically and environmentally.
“PTTS aims to set the pace in an industry that is rapidly transitioning into the next phase of automation and sustainability.
“With these partnerships, the group is positioning itself as a trailblaser in the intralogistics industry, to deliver top-tier total solutions while reducing its carbon footprint,” he added.
