Jorgen Rostrup to resign as CelcomDigi's deputy chairman from Oct 1


KUALA LUMPUR: CelcomDigi Bhd has announced the resignation of Jorgen Christian Arentz Rostrup as the group's deputy chairman, effective Oct 1, 2023.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, CelcomDigi said Rostrup’s resignation was due to a re-assignment of duties in Telenor ASA.

Rostrup was appointed to the post on Dec 1, 2022.

Currently, he is the executive vice president and head of Telenor Asia.

Rostrup is also the chairman of the board of Grameenphone Ltd in Bangladesh and Total Access Communication PCL vice chairman, where both companies are indirect subsidiaries of Telenor. - Bernama
