Waja Konsortium gets RM279mil service apartment job


PETALING JAYA: Waja Konsortium Bhd (WKB) has accepted a letter of award worth RM279.15mil from TH Tebrau Land Sdn Bhd to be the sub-contractor for the One49 Residence project in Johor Baru.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, WKB said the project comprises five blocks of service apartments totalling 2,260 units, adding that the contract will also consist of substructure construction, main building works and podium for two of the towers.

“As the letter of award was accepted on Oct 5, 2023, the commencement date of the contract works and the date of completion will be revised to a later date, with a duration of 42 weeks from the new commencement date of the contract works.”
