King raises his stake in Citaglobal to 8.586%


KUALA LUMPUR: Citaglobal Bhd has disclosed that Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah has increased his stake in the diversified group to 8.586%.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Citaglobal said the King acquired 2.59 million shares on Oct 20, raising his stake to 8.586%, or 35.85 million shares.

The King has been steadily increasing his stake in Citaglobal. On June 6, he acquired 1.378 million shares. He also acquired 2.39 million shares on June 2 and 1.21 million shares on May 26.

Citaglobal is involved in civil engineering and construction, telecommunications, oil and gas, power generation, property development, manufacturing and renewable energy.

Citaglobal closed unchanged at RM1.53 with 2.72 million shares traded.
