MMHE gets subcontract job worth RM1.2bil


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Bhd’s (MMHE) unit has secured a subcontract of the first offshore substation high-voltage direct current platform consisting of topside and jacket for the Ijmuiden ver Alpha Project from Petrofac International (UAE) LLC.

The subcontract received by its wholly-owned and major subsidiary Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd is valued at about RM1.2bil, said the group in a statement.

It included construction engineering, fabrication, mechanical completion, load out and sea fastening, and architectural works on engineering, procurement and construction basis.
