Bitsmedia raises US$20mil in latest round of funding

KUALA LUMPUR: Bitsmedia Pte Ltd, the creator of Muslim lifestyle application, Muslim Pro, has secured US$20mil in its Series A funding round.

In a statement, Bitsmedia said the funding round saw participation from Asia-focused venture capital firm, Gobi Partners, alongside continued support from existing investors, CMIA Capital Partners, and Bintang Capital Partners.

It said the new funds would be dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, enriching content offerings on Bitsmedia’s streaming platform, Qalbox, continuously developing educational features, and improving the Quran experience within Muslim Pro.
