Hextar Capital into money lending services


KUALA LUMPUR: Hextar Capital Bhd has obtained a moneylender licence issued under the Moneylenders Act 1951 and the Moneylenders (control and licensing) Regulations 2003 from the Housing and Local Government Ministry.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Hextar Capital said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Opcom Trading Sdn Bhd (OTSB), had on Dec 5, 2023 obtained the licence.

“The licence shall be valid for a period of two years effective from Dec 5, 2023 and it is renewable.

“The licence allows OTSB to undertake business of money lending services,” Hextar Capital said.
