TNB appoints Megat Jalaluddin as president, CEO

PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) has appointed Datuk Megat Jalaluddin Megat Hassan as its new president and chief executive officer (CEO) with effect from March 1, 2024.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, TNB said Megat Jalaluddin, 58, is the group’s current chief operating officer and will succeed Datuk Seri Baharin Din, 60.

“Baharin will relinquish his position as president and CEO of TNB, as well as his directorships of the relevant subsidiaries within the TNB group of companies,” it said.
