Global interest rates likely to go lower

GLOBAL macroeconomic researchers are in unison that central banks would be cutting rates next year, although the timing of the exercise for the respective economic zones would differ.

Crucially, experts from a host of investment banks and financial services providers believe it is highly likely the US Federal Reserve (Fed) would also be lowering its fund rates from the second quarter, which would be significant for yield differentials worldwide.
