BPlant takeover offer extended to Jan 5, 2024


PETALING JAYA: Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) has extended its unconditional mandatory takeover offer for all the remaining shares in Boustead Plantations Bhd (BPlant) from Dec 22, 2023 to Jan 5, 2024.

The fund has tabled a cash offer of RM1.55 per share for the remaining BPlant shares it does not own.

According to a filing with Bursa Malaysia, BPlant said that as of Dec 20, the offeror and persons acting in concert were holding 88.62% of the company’s shares and they do not intend to maintain its listing status on the local bourse.
