PPB's unit FFM appeals MyCC ruling over poultry feed cartel


KUALA LUMPUR: PPB Group Bhd's unit FFM Bhd has appealed the decision of the Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) via the filing of a notice of appeal with the Competition Appeal Tribunal and applied for a stay of the decision.

On Dec 22, 2023, FFM received a Notice of finding of an infringement under Section 40 of the Competition Act 2010 and the Decision of Infringement of Section 4(1) read with Sections 4(2)(a) and 4(3) of the Competition Act 2010, each dated Dec 11, 2023.

The FFM Group in which PPB has 80 per cent equity interest, owns and operates a total of five flour mills in the country, two in Vietnam and one in Indonesia. - Bernama
