Siab wins RM94.3mil contract from Mahsuri Food


KUALA LUMPUR: Siab Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Siab (M) Sdn Bhd has secured a construction contract worth RM94.28mil from Mahsuri Food Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Siab said the contract is for the proposed construction of a food processing factory at Kawasan Perindustrian Teknologi 2, Bandar Baru Enstek, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.

The duration of the project is 13 months with the date of mobilisation on Jan 17, 2024 and date of commencement on Feb 14, 2024.

Mahsuri Food is principally involved in manufacturing of food products and export and import of sauces and condiments.

“The project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the company for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024 and throughout the duration of the project,” Siab said.
