Nova MSC wins RM35.4mil contract in Singapore


KUALA LUMPUR: Nova MSC Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, novaCITYNETS Pte Ltd (NCN) has secured a RM35.4mil contract by Sys-Mac Automation Engineering Pte Ltd (Sys-Mac) in Singapore.

“Under this contract, NCN will be responsible for the supply, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of a fully operational automated administration, labelling, and sample processing system over a period of 32 months,” the technology solutions provider said in a statement.

This will be followed by a 4-year maintenance contract after a 12-month warranty period. The initial part of the contract is valued at approximately RM20.8mil.

In addition, Sys-Mac has the option to purchase further optional items and services, along with the possibility of extending the maintenance contract for an additional five years. This extension is estimated to be worth approximately RM14.6mil.

Executive director Nazeroll Kasim said the contract not only demonstrated its technological prowess but also its capability to deliver complex automation solutions on a large scale.
