CLMT buys properties in Johor for RM27mil


PETALING JAYA: Capitaland Malaysia Trust (CLMT) has entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with Nusajaya Tech Park Sdn Bhd for the acquisition of two properties in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, for RM27mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, CLMT said the first property consists of two semi-detached factories with a mezzanine office and guard posts.

The second property comprises a detached factory with a mezzanine office and a guard post.

“The proposed acquisition is in line with CLMT’s investment objective to deliver long term and sustainable distribution of income to unitholders by acquiring quality real estate with stable recurring income,” it said.
