KUALA LUMPUR: Advancecon Holdings Bhd via its wholly-owned subsidiary Advancon Infra Sdn Bhd has bagged a RM27.3mil contract to carry out site clearing and earthworks construction for the Gamuda Gardens Park mixed development in Rawang, Selangor.

In a statement, the earthworks and civil engineering specialist said the contract, which was secured from Mujur Minat Sdn Bhd, will commence from Feb 7, 2024, to Dec 16, 2024.

Advancecon group CEO Datuk Phum Ang Kia said the company's current orderbook stands at RM432mil, which will sustain it for the next two years.

"The latest contract win is a testament to our 30 years of our experience and reliability in providing construction-related services to reputed property developers, and undertaking major infrastructure projects across Malaysia," he said.

Prior to the current earthworks contract for the Gardens Park mixed development, Advancecon had previously completed earthworks for the adjacent Gamuda Gardens township in Rawang in 2020.
