Microlink unaware of reason for UMA

KUALA LUMPUR: Microlink Solutions Bhd is unaware of factors which may have contributed to some unusual market activity (UMA), which led to the sharp fall in its share price recently.

In a reply to the UMA query, Microlink said it is not aware of any corporate development relating to the group’s business and affairs that has not been previously announced that may account for the trading activity including those in the stage of negotiation/discussion.

“We are not aware of any rumour or report concerning the business and affairs of the group that may account for the trading activity,” it said.

MIcrolink tumbled 30.19%, or 16 sen to 37 sen with 49.8 million shares traded.
